Does load sharing interrupt my car's charging?
Yes, briefly and automatically. When the shared appliance turns on, the EV charger temporarily stops. Immediately after the appliance is turned off, the EV charger re-establishes the load and resumes charging the car, with no action needed from the homeowner.

How does a Dynamic Load Balancing system work?

EV Ready rebates offer up to $137,000 per complex: up to $3,000 for the plan, $120,000 for infrastructure, and $14,000 for chargers. We apply for these rebates on your strata's behalf and manage the whole program.
Can our council refuse an owner's charger request?
Under current BC regulations a council cannot unreasonably refuse an owner's request if the owner covers the costs. An Electrical Planning Report gives the council the capacity data to manage requests safely.
What if our building has no spare capacity?
Load management systems monitor real-time consumption and pause charging during peak hours, ramping back overnight. In most buildings this adds charging for every stall without a BC Hydro transformer upgrade.
Who maintains the system afterwards?
